    As of March 8 2024 a structural engineer submitting a Schedule B to the Authority Having Jurisdiction must now confirm that an “Independent Review of Structural Designs” has been completed.

    GJW Engineering provides these reviews.

    INDEPENDENT REVIEW SERVICES:

    • GJW Engineering performs the Independent Review of the structural design and forwards to the Engineer-of-Record a signed & sealed formal Checklist of the 8 key items of review as outlined in the EGBC Quality Management Guide for Structural Engineers.
    • This package also includes a list of reference documents used for the review.
    • It also includes a red-lined marked-up set of drawings (using Bluebeam).
    • As a value-added service, clients will also receive comments about the drawings, over & above the EGBC required minimal.
    • We provide quick turnaround of the reviews that fit the clients’ schedules.
    • GJW Engineering carries Professional Liability Insurance w/ Metrix.
